Well Friday night was rather fun. Ethan had his second baseball game they got clombered again but did manage to bring in one run. Ethan batted 1000 getting on base everytime up so Coach Jeff gave him the game ball. Very exciting.
But the real fun was when we returned home, 
Alex had gone out for a walk while we were at the game and found a morrell mushroom. Rob noticed it sitting on the kitchen counter and asked where she found it. Well, where there's one there is always more and this is the season. He and the kids threw on some shoes, coats, grabbed a plastic grocery bag, and headed out to hunt. They returned with good bagful which were quickly washed in salt water, sauteed in butter, season just so, and happily eaten by all. Yum!

funny, I never knew what a morrell mushroom was, despite everyone new that I meet asks me, "morrell, like the mushroom?"
