Benjamin joined the National Guard Reserve his Junior year and did basic training the summer before his Senior year. He has now graduated Summa Cum Laude and will be attending Eastern Michigan University on scholarship after completing his specialty training this summer.
Ethan had some wonderful experiences with the Men's Choir at Oxford High School his freshman and Sophmore year and after an unfortunate mishap has returned to our home district for his final two years.
This past school year was full of ups and downs, major disappointments and great successes. One more Senior year to go and I will be done with kids in school! Freedom in 2020 for this Mama!
This is a photo from Fall 2016 after Ethan had completed a long and arduous run playing Curly in "Of Mice and Men" wherein he got beat up and his hand crushed like a champ for nearly 20 shows to students and public. We were very glad to have Alexandra with us that night since she had gotten into a bit of a downward spiral in the spring of that year and nearly died. I will elaborate more on details later.
Hoping to blog more currently to bring things up to date from the past couple years and finish out the academic adventures of the Parton crew.
